ABOUT ME

Certified Fitness Trainer 
and Personal Coach

First and foremost, I am a wife to an incredible man who helped me tremendously get to this point, as well as a mother to the sweetest little boy. On most days you can find me chasing our toddler around, going on "adventure walks" and testing my patience when he helps me cook dinner (IYKYK). I am a certified Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor at Pelican Athletic Club.

 

I haven't always been fitness driven. In fact, quite the opposite. As a kid, I pretty much hated every sport I tried... It wasn't until college at LSU (geaux tigers!), that I found myself enjoying a run around the lakes. Then I tried my first group class at Yoglates. My passion for fitness & health increased drastically, and I became obsessed with trying every style of training: from kickboxing & barre, to Soul Cycle, Orange Theory, F45, and Core Power Yoga. If there was a new class, I wanted to try it. 

 

My love for all things fitness finally led me to pursue my dream of teaching my own style. I am a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine, and a fitness instructor. I have certifications as a Pre/Postnatal Specialist and a Women's Fitness Specialist. Along my journey, I've learned that my body responds best to variety & balance, and it thrives off of the unknown. When I keep my body guessing on what I'm going to do next, I notice my strength, coordination, and endurance increase. My body craves the excitement of a new routine. 

 

I'm here to bring you a new, balanced & effective training. I combine a variety of workouts to get your heart pumping, while also strengthening, toning and stretching. You'll find active warm-ups, strength training, cardio, and yoga inspired flows. Some days are high intensity, and some are low impact. I hope you LOVE it as much as I do. And my wish is that it leads you to a lifestyle filled with movement!
